We have just finished a huge weekend of games at the King of the Rink competition. See the photos on our gallery page.
Congratulations to our U10's team and U12's teams who won their age groups - we have some shiny gold hockeys sticks to put in the display cabinet tomorrow!
Well done to Millie and James in their first ever hockey games :) ….. you were both awesome.
Thanks especially to Gregor for constant coaching, Rob and Phil for helping on the bench and Angela for scoring, and all parents for cheering and keeping the players on time. It was a great weekend, and despite two 5.15am wake-ups (and late nights) all the players stayed happy and well-behaved throughout the whole weekend. You really are a fantastic bunch!
Photos and full details, including results of older age groups (who were still playing) will follow on the blogspot shortly.
Training as usual tomorrow:5.30pm-7.00pm for 10's, 12's and new players7.00pm-8.30pm for 14's and 17's
Parents of new players - please ask for help if you need guidance to learn how to get your children geared up. This is something you/they need to learn before playing in the competition. Some players are missing out on rink time if they are not being assisted.
Welcome to to Mariana, Chris and Tim who joined in last week.It is wonderful to have so many new players.
